Corliss Gibson LLC is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. Accessibility matters to us in principle and in practice — our customers are people with mobility needs.
1. Our target standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are widely recognised as the benchmark for web accessibility.
2. What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
- A "Skip to main content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Text alternatives for decorative and interface elements, and descriptive link text.
- Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
- Text that can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Responsive layout that reflows on small screens and at high zoom levels.
- Visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields.
- Labelled form fields with clear instructions and accessible error messaging.
- Plain-language content, written to be understood without specialist knowledge.
- No content that flashes or animates in a way that could trigger a seizure.
3. Known limitations
- Some product descriptions rely on written specification rather than diagrams; where a diagram would help, we can supply manufacturer documentation on request.
- Third-party websites linked from this site are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
4. Alternative ways to access our information
If any part of this website is difficult for you to use, you do not have to struggle with it. We are happy to help directly:
- Email [email protected] and we will read out, summarise or send information in a different format.
- Ask us to send product details, quotes or policies as a plain text or large-print document.
- Ask a family member, carer or advocate to contact us on your behalf.
5. Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter a page or feature you cannot use, please contact us and include: the page address (URL), a description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you are using. We will acknowledge your message, investigate, and aim to reply with a solution or a timeframe within 10 business days.

6. Feedback and continuous improvement
We review this website periodically and address accessibility issues as we find them. Your feedback directly informs those improvements, and we are grateful for it.
